Description: Louis Mazzini’s mother’s frequent tales of how her titled D’Ascoyne family shunned her after she eloped with an Italian commoner causes a simmering resentment in him. On being spurned because of his lowly status by his lifetime (if devious and fickle) sweetheart Sibella he decides to permanently remove all the D’Ascoynes standing between him and the Dukedom. Becoming romantically involved with one of the widows he has created, he finds Sibella’s jealousy could seriously threaten his grand design.

    ‘elo
    thanks for another great classic.
have this on vhs, but I’m sure this’ll look a lot better.

I hope you won’t mind my repeating a comment to your “La Belle et la bête” post, but I cannot be sure you got the original since there was no response to it.

“…I am having a problem with this movie (La Belle et la Bête) – a character you use in the title is not “readable” by winRAR (3.7)so I can neither play it, move it, or even rename it within the rar.
can you either tell me how to overcome this limitation, or rename the movie and re-rar+upload them again?
would prefer a solution though, thanks either way, and again for your site.”
    Thanks.

I will find my backup files and find out what is going on, but when i checked them before uploading, everything was OK

    ‘elo, thanks Just.
it’s the first ‘e’ character in the word “Bete” with the thingy on the bottom – apparently a common enough letter in some parts of Europe. I’ve had the same problem before with a couple album downloads from yonder way. :- )
my windows xp (sp2) does not support it. I suppose users of macs and linux systems might not have a problem with it, but I’d be surprised to be the only windows user to have this problem.
the solution is likely a need to install a character set or language pack, but I don’t know what exactly, or how to find out.
if you have any idea, please let me know – thanks very much again.

I got my backup files and sucessfully extracted them so the problem may be with language pack , the movie is French, so that may be the solution to your problem, but I am no expert on this field, sorry, try avoid posting these “strange” letters in files in future

  6. Just me :) says:

Try install that language pack using Office instalation CD ( you have to open file with a text, switch on grammar checking and set the language to French, and when it ask you to install it, just provide Office CD, I think that is the way, but remember I am not that sure aboout that, just my guess
